Leek & Potatoes

Health: Eat Nuts
                                     Leek & Potatoes
                                A dish of green onion and potato
                                                      Ingredients
        Leek    3 finely chopped        Potato     Butter    50 g
          Garlic   3  cloves      Beef or vegetable stock  5 cup
          Salt       as to taste     Red chili   1 teaspoon   
            Oil   1 tablespoon      
          For garnishing    Parsley   Fresh chopped or chives


                                        Method 

 Heat butter and oil in a large heavy based pan.Add 3 cloves crushed garlic and finely chopped leek. Stir over low heat for 
8 minutes, or leek is tender and golden. Add 5 cup of beef or vegetable stock.Bring to the boil, then add potato slices. When the potatoes are tender, season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with bread and sprinkle with fresh herb,such as parsley and chives.
