Cucumber Raita

          Health: Cucumber is actually a fruit. We  take it as a salad. Cucumber contain                                         so much water, they are great at cleansing your body of toxins.
                                                       Cucumber Raita

                                           Summer salad and spicy Asian dish

                                                Ingredients

  cucumber   3     Yogurt     500ml     Lemon juice     1 teaspoon

 Fresh mint leaves and Coriander chopped     Salt       ½ teaspoon

   Onion  1 sliced    Tomato     3 sliced    Red pepper   ½ teaspoon

                 Cumin     ½ teaspoon      Garlic   1 clove   crushed


                              Method 

               Chop the cucumber into very small diced pieces.

             Mix the garlic into the yogurt. Stir in the fresh chopped mint and coriander.

             Add the salt, tomatoes, onion, red pepper and cumin. Taste the Raita and add the

           fresh lemon juice.

                                                    Use as a dip or serve with spicy dishes.
