Chicken Samosa
Samosas are commonly use in sub-continent.
Ingredients
All purpose flour 1 cup cumin 1/2 teaspoon
Oil 3 tablespoons Salt to taste
Water as required
Red chili 1 teaspoon Chicken 450 g mince
Onion Chopped 1 Garlic and ginger 1 teaspoon
Green chili 3 chopped Fresh coriander
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
Method
Filling
Heat the oil and stir fry the chicken minced for 4 minutes then add all other ingredients,garlic and ginger paste, salt, onion, red pepper, coriander powder, green chili, lemon juice,cumin, stir fry until the mixture ready. Turn off the heat and add the fresh coriander.
Dough
In a large bowl combine flour and salt and add water little by little as you knead the dough.Knead for a few minutes, you get a soft and smooth dough.
Make 7 or 8 balls out of the knead dough.Place one of the balls on a wooden
board. Sprinkle some flour over the dough and roll them into four inches diameter elongated diskettes. Cut into half,apply a little water on the edges. Shapes into a cone and stiff it with the chicken fillings.Seal the edges.
Frying
Take a deep frying pan and heat the oil, put the samosas in hot oil and fry them until golden brown. Transfer it to a absorbent pepper.
Serve hot with ketchup or garlic chili sauce.
